ABOUT TERRY
Terry is a lighting designer, audio engineer, and technical consultant based in Gainesville, Florida. His journey in technical theater began in high school, where he served as the student technical director for The SpongeBob Musical and worked on nearly a dozen other productions.
Since starting at the University of Florida in 2023, Terry has worked with many local theaters and the School of Theatre and Dance at UF. At the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre, he was the technical director for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Cabaret, the lighting designer for Misery, and a technical consultant for Little Women.
Terry has also worked as a stage technician for touring shows at the Curtis M. Philips Center and as a sound operator for the Driveway Theatre Project. At the Hippodrome State Theatre, he has designed shows for the Summer Spectacular kids’ camp and operated the lighting board for several productions.
In the fall of 2024, Terry will be transitioning into the Boston University Fine Arts College to study BFA Technical theatre with a focus in lighting design.
